Ephesians 3:16-19 “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”

Lord, may ________ be an imitator of You, and understand that he/she is a dearly loved child. May he/she live a life of love, just as Christ loved him/her and gave Himself up for him/her.
Colossians 1:9-12 “For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.”
Lord, I pray that You would fill ________ with the knowledge of Your will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Lord Jesus, may ________ get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. May ________ be kind and compassionate to others, and forgive others as You have forgiven him/her.
Philippians 2:3-5 “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus…”
Lord, I pray that ________ would have the same attitude as Christ. May he/she do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Help ________ to be humble and to see others as better than him/herself. Help ________ to not just look to his/her own interests, but also to the interests of others.
Colossians 2:6-7 “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”

Dear Lord, help ________ to be strong in You and Your mighty power. Help him/her to put on Your full armor so that he/she can stand firm against the devil’s schemes. May ________ stand firm wearing the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit.
Psalm 73:21-28 “When my heart was grieved and my spirit embittered, I was senseless and ignorant; I was a brute beast before you. Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. Lord, please remind ________ that You are always with him/her and that You hold him/her by his/her right hand. Lord, please guide ________ with Your counsel all of his/her life. Philippians 1:9-11 “And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.”
Lord, I pray that ________’s love may abound still more and more in knowledge and depth of insight (discernment), so that he/she may discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ. May ________ be filled with the fruit of righteousness, which comes through Jesus Christ.
Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
Lord, I pray that ________ would think on things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, praiseworthy and excellent.
Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Lord, I pray that ________ will not be anxious about anything, but would pray about everything and be thankful. I pray that, as a result, Your peace that surpasses all understanding would guard ________’s heart in Christ Jesus.
Colossians 3:1-2 “Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”
Lord, I pray that ________ would set his/her heart on things above, where Christ is seated at Your right hand. May ________ set his/her mind on things above, not on earthly things.
Ephesians 6:19-20 “Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.”
Lord, I pray that whenever ________ opens his mouth, You would give him the words to fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel. May ________ declare the gospel fearlessly.
For this next section, substitute “Jesus” for any reference to God’s Word, Law (statutes, decrees, commands), and wisdom. The Bible says that Jesus is the Word, fulfills the Law, and is the wisdom of God.
Psalm 19:12-14 “But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults. Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression. May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord , my Rock and my Redeemer.”

Lord, may You, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, give ________ the Spirit of wisdom and revelation (Christ), so that ________ may know Christ better. Lord God, help ________ to keep his/her way pure by living according to Your Word (Christ). May ________ seek You with all his/her heart and not stray from Your commands (Jesus). Help ________ to hide Your Word (Jesus) in his/her heart so that he/she will not sin against You. Teach ________ Your decrees (Jesus) and help him/her to rejoice in following Your statutes (Jesus), to meditate on Your precepts (Jesus) and to consider Your ways. Lord, help ________ not to neglect Your Word (Jesus).

Lord, may wisdom (Jesus) guide and lead ________ along straight paths. When ________ walks, let his/her steps not be hampered; when he/she runs, let him/her not stumble. May ________ hold on to instruction (Jesus), not let it (Him) go, and guard it (Him) well, for it (He) is his/her life.
